Cinema Mode User Guide
1. Overview
GLOS-2.5D Cinema BOXER is a cinema-focused 2.5D viewer designed for
exhibition, signage, and cinematic presentation.
It transforms still images into subtle,
continuous 2.5D motion using depth
information and light dynamics.
This tool is not a traditional editor.
It is a playback and direction engine — once set, it can run
automatically
for long periods without interaction.

Canvas View (Left)
- Main viewing area

- Load images and BXR projects
- Adjust cinema, light, and motion settings

3. Loading Files
3.1 Open BXR Projects
- Click Open Projects (BXR)
- Select one or multiple .bxr files
- Navigate using Previous / Next
BXR files include saved cinema settings and
playback states.
3.2 Cinema Playlist (Slideshow)
Load Photos
- Click Choose Photos
- Select multiple images or BXR files
Load Depth Maps (Optional)
- Use Choose Depth Maps to load external depth images
- If omitted, the internal z_Logic engine is used
automatically
4. Engine Parameters (Depth &
Motion)
RGB Depth Controls
- R / G / B Disp
Controls depth displacement per color channel
- Depth Strength
Overall 2.5D depth intensity
- Time Speed
Motion playback speed
For first-time use, start with the default
values.
5. Light Engine
Light Pulse Strength
- Adds subtle breathing light to the scene
Light Target Mode
- Portrait – Faces and skin tones
- Product – Product highlights
- Scene – Soft global lighting
6. Image Enhance (Finishing Layer)
This section is intended as a final
touch, not primary correction.
- Contrast – Overall contrast
- Clarity – Local detail enhancement
- Vibrance – Smart color enhancement
Vibrance Mode
- Adobe Vibrance (skin-safe)
- Cinema Boost (trailer-style look)
- Auto (scene-based)
7. Cinema Mode (Slideshow)
Enable Cinema Mode
- Check Cinema Mode Enabled
Core Settings
- Slide Duration – Time per scene
- Order – Sequential or Random
- Transition – Fade or Cut
Cinema Motion Style
- Soft Cinema – Smooth cinematic
motion
- Deep Cinema – Stronger depth

Cinema Tone
- Neutral – Natural look
- Film Soft – Soft filmic tone
- Deep Noir – High-contrast cinematic
style
8. Presets
- Select built-in presets
- Click Save Current as Custom to store your own
- Custom presets can be reused anytime
9. Export Options
Export as BXR
- Saves the current cinema setup as a BXR project
- Ideal for reuse and further playback
Export PNG Snapshot
- Captures the current frame as a high-resolution image
Export as WebM
- Records the visible cinema playback as video
- Suitable for SNS, exhibitions, and web backgrounds
10. Exhibition / Signage Mode (Panel
OFF)
- Click Panel OFF
- All UI elements are hidden
- The viewer runs in full-screen presentation mode
Return to Control Mode
- Press Esc
- Or click the bottom-right area of the canvas
11. Recommended Workflow
- Load images or BXR projects
- Adjust depth and light gently
- Enable and tune Cinema Mode
- Save a preset (optional)
- Test in Panel OFF mode
- Export BXR or WebM if needed
12. Notes
- This tool is designed for cinematic presentation, not
heavy editing
- Fewer adjustments often produce more natural results
- Think of it as direction, not manipulation

Quick Start — 5-Minute Guide
This guide is for users who want to see
results immediately.
No deep setup. No theory.
Just follow the steps below.
Step 1. Load Your Images
- Click Choose Photos
- Select one or multiple images (or BXR files)
- The image appears instantly in the canvas
Depth maps are optional. If none are
loaded, the engine uses internal z_Logic automatically.
Step 2. Adjust Depth (30 seconds)
In Engine Parameters:
- Leave R / G / B Disp at default
- Slightly adjust Depth Strength if needed
- Lower = calmer
- Higher = stronger 2.5D effect
👉 If
unsure, do nothing here. Defaults are safe.
Step 3. Enable Cinema Mode
- Check Cinema Mode Enabled
- Set:
- Slide Duration: 8–12 seconds
(recommended)
- Transition: Fade
- Cinema Motion Style: Soft Cinema
You now have continuous cinematic playback.
Step 4. Choose a Tone (Optional)
In Cinema Tone:
- Neutral → Natural
- Film Soft → Cinematic (recommended)
- Deep Noir → Dramatic / high
contrast
Step 5. Go Full Screen
Click Panel OFF
✔ UI disappears
✔ Cinema
playback continues
✔ Ready for
viewing, presentation, or exhibition
To return:
- Press Esc
- Or click the bottom-right of the canvas
Optional: Save or Export
- Save Current as Custom → reuse
later
- Export as BXR → save the setup
- Export as WebM → create a video

Exhibition / Signage-Only Manual
This section is for galleries, museums,
stores, booths, and public displays.
The goal is stable, unattended,
long-running playback.
1. Purpose of Exhibition Mode
Cinema BOXER is designed to:
- Run continuously for hours or days
- Require no mouse or keyboard input
- Present images as living, cinematic scenes
Think of it as a digital cinema frame,
not an editor.
2. Recommended Setup
Image Preparation
- Use high-resolution images
- Avoid extreme contrast or over-sharpened photos
- Portraits, products, architecture, and landscapes work best
Cinema Settings (Recommended Defaults)
- Cinema Mode Enabled: ON
- Slide Duration: 10–15 seconds
- Order: Sequential (for
storytelling)
- Transition: Fade
- Cinema Motion Style: Soft Cinema
- Cinema Tone: Film Soft
Avoid aggressive settings.
Subtle motion feels more premium in physical spaces.
3. Panel OFF (Exhibition Mode)
- Click Panel OFF
- Confirm that:
- Control panel is hidden
- Bottom bar is hidden
- Only the image remains visible
This is the final exhibition state.
4. Long-Running Playback Tips
- Do not touch controls after entering Panel OFF
- Use Fade instead of Cut for eye comfort
- Moderate depth and light pulse reduce viewer fatigue
- Test at least 10 minutes before public display
5. Recovery & Control
Exit Exhibition Mode
- Press Esc
- Or click the bottom-right corner of the canvas
Restart Playback
- Reload the page
- Cinema Mode resumes with current settings
6. Output for Fixed Installations
For environments where browsers are not
allowed:
- Use Export as WebM
- Play the video on:
- Media players
- Digital signage systems
- Embedded display hardware
7. Best Practices
- Less motion = more cinematic
- Avoid frequent preset changes
- Treat Cinema BOXER like a director’s console, not a
mixer
- Once it feels right, stop adjusting
